Breakout Saint John is an award-winning escape room complex in Saint John, New Brunswick that offers a unique and fun form of entertainment that has been exploding around the world in recent years. Our players must find clues and solve a series of puzzles in an attempt to escape or complete a room’s mission before time
runs out.

In 2015, Breakout Saint John launched as New Brunswick’s very first escape room complex. Since then, this locally-owned and family-run business has relocated, expanded and adapted to offer locals, visitors and escape room fans a variety of award-winning entertainment options to immerse themselves in while having a great time.

We're all about immersive entertainment.

Every experience at Breakout Saint John, or with their sister company Outwit Adventures, is a unique and thoughtfully-designed adventure. What started with two escape rooms has grown to include half a dozen themed rooms, portable mini and mega games, virtual options and app-based outdoor clue hunts. There is an experience at Breakout ready to entertain and engage any group or family, for any party, event or workshop.

In both on and off-site games, players are challenged to find clues and solve puzzles in an attempt to complete a mission before time runs out. Each game is an original idea, straight from the local Breakout team, and each is thoughtfully designed for players to be completely immersed. Think of it like experiencing what it would be like inside a movie, book, or video game. Players have limited time to solve puzzles and find clues, and all of the adventures are expertly crafted at specific difficulty levels, to ensure everyone doesn’t escape/beat the clock, but that they have a great time regardless of the outcome.
